  • Flexible Pin Couplings Flexible pin coupling achieves connection of two shafts by the pin. Shaft hole of elastic pin coupling can be cylindrical, cone and short cylindrical. Half coupling adopts precise casting. It is made of cast iron HT20-40 and cast steel ZG35Ⅱ.
  • Flexible Jaw Coupling Flexible jaw coupling achieves connection of half couplings by installing a complete plum-shaped flexible ring on the block. The block is between the two half couplings which are of the same shape. Plum-shaped coupling includes LMS series and LM series.

Flexible Coupling

Description
Flexible coupling can be made of aluminum alloy, stainless steel or engineering plastic. Elastic coupling is specifically designed and manufactured for use with feedback devices such as encoders. The goal of flexible shaft coupling design is to provide zero backlash operation that will insure encoder accuracy.

Application
Flexible couplings are used to transmit torque from one shaft to another when the two shafts are slightly misaligned. In addition to allowing for misalignment, elastic couplings can also be used for vibration damping or noise reduction.

Features
1. Flexible coupling is an integrated metal elastomer.
2. It has high torque stiffness and excellent sensitivity.
3. Rotational characteristics of both clockwise and counter-clockwise are the same.
4. Elastic coupling is made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy, thus it features oil resistance and corrosion resistance.
5. Fixed way of flexible coupling mainly includes set-screw and clamping.
