Gear Couplings
Description
Gear coupling is a mechanical device for transmitting torque between two shafts that are not collinear. It consists of two flexible joint fixed to each shaft. The two joints are connected by a third shaft which is called spindle.
Application
Gear coupling is widely used in shaft drive under the condition of low speed and heavy loading.
