Safety Couplings

Description
Safety coupling is also called torque limiting coupling. It is made up of chain coupling and friction gear. This machine is mainly used for overload protection. When the required torque is more than the set value caused by overload or mechanical failure, safety coupling will limit the transmitting torque in the form of sliding. After the overloading or mechanical failure disappear, the machine recovers to normal again.

Application
Safety coupling is widely used in electronic equipment industry, automatic production line and conveyor industry. Torque limiting coupling can be used in driving of identical shafting. It can also be used in parallel shafting with single-row chain.

Features
1. Safety coupling can protect motor and other components.
2. Torque limiting coupling has damping, buffering and compensation performance.
3. Friction coupling is able to realize automatic power-off and alarming.

Q is light duty. Z is heavy duty. The difference only relays on the thickness of disc spring.
